MP train tragedy: Death toll rises to 27, NDRF teams rushed to site

The death toll in the Madhya Pradesh twin train tragedy has risen to 27, including 11 women, 11 men and five children.

Meanwhile, several NDRF teams have been rushed to the site of the derailment to carry out relief and rescue operations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have expressed condolences over the mishap and assured help to those affected by the tragedy.
