Mulayam re-elected as Samajwadi Party chief

Mulayam Singh Yadav was re-elected as the Samajwadi Party chief for the ninth time at the party's national executive meeting here on Wednesday.

The 74-year-old former Uttar Pradesh chief minister has been re-elected as the Samajwadi Party supremo for the next three years.

The party's national executive meeting was attended by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, party's national general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav, state cabinet minister Azam Khan and Janata Dal (United) chief Sharad Yadav.
