Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Tuesday said that at a meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parliamentary unit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had praised Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav for attempting to end the logjam in parliament.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Mulayam Singh for his effort to break the logjam. He said that some people are misusing parliament to hamper the country's growth," Rudy told media here.

The Samajwadi Party chief had yesterday hit out at the Congress Party, saying, "Some people are misusing parliament to stop the pace of the country's growth."

Mulayam Singh's party is an important constituent of the opposition. They warned the Congress, saying, "Enough is enough... We will not back you if you keep protesting.
