At least seven Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers have been detained by the Mumbai police for vandalising a jewellery store's nameplate written in Gujarati, in Dadar.

In a similar incident in April, at least 10 MNS activists were arrested for allegedly creating ruckus in a Zara showroom of apparel at Lower Parel area in Mumbai to oppose the sale of 'Pakistani brands' of clothes.

Earlier in May at least eleven MNS party workers were arrested after they protested in front of Inorbit Mall in Malad against the sale of garments made in Pakistan in the H&M store.

Enraged, the workers indulged in arson and set the Pakistani garments ablaze in front of the mall and shut down the H&M store, leaving customers panicked.
