Railway Officials on Friday said that one additional foot over bridge has been sanctioned for Mumbai's Elphinstone railway station.

The Railway Officials confirmed that a tender has been floated and that Rs 9.5 crore has been sanctioned by the Railway Minister.

This comes after, 22 people were killed and over 39 seriously got injured in a rush-hour stampede at Mumbai's Elphinstone railway station's foot over the bridge today.
