The alleged mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai attack Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi has challenged his two day physical detention in an abduction case in a district and sessions court in Islamabad.
Lakhvi was remanded in police custody for two days in a kidnapping case by a local court in Islamabad, a day after the Islamabad High Court (IHC) approved his release, reported Dawn News.
The abduction charges accuse Lakhvi to be involved in the abduction of a man named Anwar six and a half years ago.
The second FIR was registered barely hours after the IHC ordered his conditional release yesterday.
