Six members of a Mumbai family, who were struck in the devastating floods in Srinagar, returned to their home late last night.
They were received by their family members, who were extremely worried over the last few days, with warmth and affection. They distributed sweets among themselves.
The Agarwal family had gone for a vacation to Kashmir and the entire area was hit by massive floods the day after their arrival.
Around one lakh people have been rescued so far by the Armed Forces and the NDRF from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir in the ongoing rescue and relief operations in the state.
The water levels have receded but the situation in most parts of Srinagar continues to be grim.
