A report has said that Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, the prime suspect and alleged mastermind of the Mumbai terror attacks in 2008, is leading a "comfortable life" inside Adiala Jail.
According to the Dawn, Lakvi can receive any number of guests at any time of the day, seven days a week, a jail official said. He also watches television, uses a mobile phone and has access to the internet.
The report said that none of his visitors have to identify themselves to the jail authorities.
After a long-drawn legal battle in the aftermath of the Mumbai terror attacks, Lakhvi was granted bail by an anti-terrorism court, a day after Peshawar school massacre.
The ill-timed decision elicited criticism from the international community, especially India.
He was then detained by the government under the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) law.
