Mumbai Stampede: Nadda offers complete assistance

Union Health Minister J P Nadda on Friday offered complete assistance to the Maharashtra government in wake of Mumbai Stampede.

Nadda spoke to Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and inquire about the health of injured people and assured necessary assistance.

Meanwhile, an additional foot over bridge for Mumbai's Elphinstone railway station has been sanctioned by the government.

The Railway Officials confirmed that a tender has been floated and that 9.5 crore rupees have been sanctioned by the Railway Minister.

Earlier today, 22 people were killed and over 39 seriously got injured in a rush-hour stampede at Mumbai's Elphinstone railway station's foot over bridge today.
