Mumbai to host 36th Asian Racing Conference

The Royal Western Indian Turf Club (RWITC) announced the upcoming 36th Asian Racing Conference (ARC), which is to be held here at the historic Mahalaxmi Racecourse from January 24 to January 29.

The Asian Racing Federation (ARF) will organize the conference , featuring leading turf representatives and racing enthusiasts from around the world and will be held at the historic Mahalaxmi Racecourse.

The idea behind the conference is to provide a common international platform for racing administrators, turf representatives and other industry players, where they can exchange ideas, network and share experiences, and be updated about leading trends in the industry. This initiative was conceived with the idea to promote thoroughbred racing internationally and further promote the sport.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of ARC committee, Cyrus S. Poonawalla said "It gives us immense pleasure to extend a hearty invitation to delegates from the racing world to attend 36th Asian Racing Conference. The Organizing Committee will embark on the mission to make this conference a memorable experience for the guests. We are optimistic that the conference will see incredible participation and attendance."

The ARC will include presentations made by experts in the field of racing from across the world, business sessions, social evening and more.

The conference will start with the race day at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, while the committee meetings and business sessions will be held in the prestigious Oberoi and Trident Hotels at Marine Drive.

The Opening Ceremony will also be attended by renowned personalities like Princess Zahra Aga Khan, Louis Romanet - President International Federation Horse Racing Authorities in Paris, World renowned author Jocelyn Moubray Breeding, former champion international jockey now media broadcaster Hayley Turner.
