World Number two Andy Murray has insisted that he feels confident about the ongoing Cincinnati Masters following his recent win over top-ranked Novak Djokovic in the Rogers Cup final.

The 28-year-old said that he feels good after playing well in the last couple of matches, adding that he hopes to get through his first match of Cincinnati Masters as well, the BBC reported.

The Briton has also won the tournament in 2009 and 2010.

Murray will face American shuttler Mardy Fish, who will retire after the US Open, in the second round in Cincinnati on August 20.

Fish had earlier defeated World Number twenty Viktor Troicki 6-2, 6-2 in its first match of the Western & Southern Open.
