Britain number one Andy Murray believes that he is poised to begin the first grand slam of the year despite facing a challenging draw in the Australian Open.
Murray, who is eyeing his third major, said that it was obviously a very difficult draw and it was going to be extremely difficult to come through that, the BBC reported.
However, Murray believes that often in such events there are upsets and it would be interesting to see how it goes, the report added.
Murray will face Indian qualifier Yuki Bhambri in his opening match and if he makes a progress, then he could face Grigor Dimitrov, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal standing between him and a place in the final.
