Former Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf might be flown abroad for a heart by-pass or an angioplasty as three vessels in his heart are blocked presently.

According to the sources in the medical board, Musharraf was currently being administered blood thinning medication, Dawn News reports.

The medical board is considering the possibility of his treatment in Dubai or London, the report added.

The former military ruler was moved to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) on Thursday while en route towards the premises of the special court hearing the treason case against him.

Sources close to Musharraf said that he was undergoing extreme mental stress, which led to the chest pains and his current medical condition.
