Musharraf moves court to have name stricken off ECL

Former Pakistan president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf has submitted an application in the Sindh High Court seeking to remove his name from the Exit Control List (ECL).

Musharraf's counsel Barrister Farogh Naseem submitted the, challenging the order of the Interior Secretary pertaining to inclusion of his name in the ECL, Dawn News reports.

According to the report, earlier on April 2, the government had rejected Musharraf's application seeking removal of his name from the ECL.
