Music fraternity reacts to UK Parliament attack

In the wake of the unfortunate terror attack outside the Houses of Parliament in London on Wednesday, the music fraternity across the world, have come forward and shared their condolences and prayers for the people of London.

Artists like Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Ellie Goulding and many others took to their Twitter and condemned the attack on Westminster Bridge in London.

Here are some tweets from the musicians:

The 'Chained to the Rhythm' hit-maker, Katy Pretty wrote, "Sending ????love to ????...????????"

Nicki Minaj shared, "May God protect everyone in London. Hate hearing this sad news. Sending my condolences to the victims' families."

 

Ellie Goulding, the 'Burn' fame, expressed her thoughts on this terrible news, by writing, "Was in Soho when I heard the terrible news... stay safe and resilient as ever my fellow Londoners. My thoughts go out to those affected."

The Irish-singer and the former 'One Direction' member, Niall Horan said, "Thinking of London this morning from LA. . Stay safe everyone !!"

American singer and songwriter, Pink showed solidarity with the people of London by saying, "I've just this second turned on the news ?????? my heart is hurting for the people in London who have been affected by yet another tragedy."

Five people died after a single terrorist attacked Westminster, stabbing a police officer to death as he tried to storm the Parliament, and killing three members of the public as he careered through the heart of the capital in a 4x4 vehicle, according to the Guardian.

As reported by The Guardian, the entire Parliament and the area surrounding is on lockdown with massive security, as defence personnel are swarming the area to fend off the public.

The London Eye, opposite the House of Parliament on the other side of Westminster Bridge, is also in lockdown.
