Courtney Love has said that her daughter Frances Bean Cobain was offered the role of Bella in 'Twilight' but turned it down, as she objected to the vampire storylines.
The 48-year-old rocker told Howard Stern on his show that her daughter with Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain was all of 13 when she got the offer, asserting that it was a true story, Us magazine reported.
However, when the radio jock expressed surprise, Love explained that Frances, now 20, had been actually approached by people involved with the movie adaptation and not vice versa.
She said that someone just saw a picture of Frances in a magazine and sent her the script for Twilight and Frances was like, "That's a sexist, Mormon piece of sh-t!"
Love said that her daughter was only 13 at the time and it would have destroyed her life.
