14-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal has been chosen to be the Spain's flag- bearer at the opening ceremony of this year's Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
It is for the second time that the Spanish maestro has been given the honour. He was earlier selected as the flag-bearer for the 2012 London Olympics but was replaced by NBA star Pau Gasol due to an injury,Sport24 reported.
The announcement was made to mark the 100-day countdown to the opening ceremony at Rio's Maracana Stadium.
