Spanish tennis maestro Rafael Nadal progressed through to the third round of the Barcelona Open after defeating compatriot Marcel Granollers in straight sets on Wednesday.
The 14-time Grand Slam champion overcame a shaky start before claiming a 6-3, 6-2 win over Granollers at the clay-court tournament, Sport24 reported.
Nadal, who won the Monte Carlo Masters last week for his first title of the year, is seeking his ninth title in Barcelona.
