Lambasting N. Chandrababu Naidu for not being with the people when it needed most and sailing with the ruling party to further his personal agenda, YSRC honorary president YS Vijayamma has said his unconditional letter has given strength for Delhi to divide the state.
"Chandrababu Naidu has never taken up any dharna or agitation against the state government but has saved it when we have moved a no-confidence motion. He has always placed his personal agenda before the people's welfare and his letter has given Congress the strength to divide the state," she said in a brief address during her electioneering here on Saturday.
"He has done nothing for farmers, students or other sections of society but has always been on a save Congress mission. It was YSR Congress which has been with the people and fighting for their cause, be it hike in power charges or RTC buses fares and Polavaram issue," she said.
"Even when the decision to divide the state was taken, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and I had undertaken fast to keep the state united along with party coordinators. Chandrababu Naidu on the other hand has given his firm nod for the bifurcation, she added.
She further said: "YS Jagan Mohan Reddy practices value based politics and has promised to provide free education to two children from each family under AmmaVadi scheme, increase old age pensions to Rs 700, insulate farmers from price fluctuations by setting up Market Stabilisation Fund and waive the loans of DWACRA groups."
"Jagan is known for keeping his word and I appeal to you to cast your vote to YSRCP fan symbol in the municipal, MPTC, ZPTC, assembly and LokSabha elections to ensure a welfare state," she added.
