Former Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Narayan Rane said here on Tuesday that he has decided to remain in the Congress Party and will continue as Maharashtra's Heavy Industries Minister.
"After discussions with Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Manikrao Thakre, Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithiviraj Chavan and other leaders, I have decided to remain with the Congress," said Rane.
"I will continue as Maharashtra Heavy Industries Minister and try my best so that the party wins the assembly polls," he added.
