Naseeruddin Shah recently launched his memoir titled 'And Then One Day
The book is said to be a candid recount of almost four decades of Shah's life as an actor.
Speaking on the occasion, Shah recalled the time he started writing this book and said, "I was shooting this film which was boring me out of my skull and I was living in Prague. It was getting colder and colder. Winter was setting in, it was minus 17C at night and I was making so much money that I decided to buy a computer and learn how to use it."
"That's how I started writing it for my own amusement.I had nothing to do and so I thought I will try to recall things from my childhood and I found I could recall quite a few. It was fun remembering and as a challenge I thought if I could put it down in an engaging manner but the thought that it could end up as a book didn't occurred to me then," he added.
The 64-year-old actor, who is happy that the book is being appreciated, is also worried about the fact that it may ruffle a few feathers in the film industry.
The 318 page memoir sums up actor's childhood, his journey as an actor till he married Ratna Pathak Shah when he was 32 years of age.
