Former England captain Nasser Hussain has called on the young batsmen in the team to try and follow Moeen Ali's fearless approach in order to have a chance of bagging the 2015 World Cup.
Ali hit a ton to lead the way on Monday as England shrugged off two dismal performances against co-hosts Australia and New Zealand to record their first victory of the tournament, a 119-run triumph over Scotland in Christchurch.
Former England opener Geoff Boycott compared the all-rounder to the great Gary Sobers for the fluency of his strokemaking and Hussain believes that the rest of the team should be encouraged to copy the left-hander's style, the BBC reported.
Hussain claimed that Ali was very pleasing on the eye, adding that the all-rounder doesn't make ugly runs and he's been a revelation since coming in to the England side.
The former skipper claimed that Ali's continuously nipping in with wickets and gets vital runs. He added that there would be days when the opener gets out in a silly fashion, but insisted that he would rather see England's young guns go that way and get out giving it a go.

Hussain said that one wants someone to take the attack to the opposition especially with the shots that Ali has, adding that one doesn't want the all-rounder staying in his bunker and being fearful of getting out.
Hussain claimed that Ali has always been someone who likes to pick his bat up and give it a go, not in a slog fashion but in a real sort of elegant, wristy fashion.
Ali hit 128 runs as England chalked up 303 for eight in 50 overs before bowling out Scotland for 184 in their Pool A encounter at the Hagley Oval, the report added.
