The National Museum this weekend is organising it's first-ever film festival, which will screen eleven classic Indian movies. The festival will continue over the coming five months.
Organised in collaboration with Doordarshan, the series will open with For Real, a 2009 English film that throws light on the point of view of a six-year-old girl caught in a family discord. Movies in various languages of the country will be screened at 5 pm on alternate Saturdays (second and fourth of a month) till the end of March, 2015.
The festival, ending on March 18, is the National Museum's first tie-up with the country's public broadcaster.
