In a bizarre incident, eight workers of the National Congress Party (NCP) countered the obstinate behavior of public works department officials by performing an impromptu snake or "Nagin" dance in Maharashtra's Buldhana town.

The 'Nagin Dance' was performed in front of senior officials disrupting during their meeting at the PWD headquarters in Buldhana.

The protesters claimed that they had to resort to this tactic because they were irked by the apathy of the government officials.

The senior PWD officials were left perplexed by the episode, which was caught on camera and video that later went viral on social media.

The video shows six to seven senior officials sitting in a conference room being disturbed by the agitators, who moved around the table dancing on the tune of the famous Bollywood movie Nagina.

A few seconds later, the agitators were asked to leave by the police and a senior official assured them that their issues would be addressed.

According to reports, the PWD department had given a contract for the construction of a road and a footpath to the Eagle Construction Company.

The NCP workers claimed that the project was to have been completed in two years, but it remains unfinished after four years.
