NDA allies Shiv Sena, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and Swabhimani Paksha have expressed reservations against the land bill proposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Government.
According to reports, the parties think that land is a priceless asset of the farmers and should not be acquired without consent.
The bill proposes amendments to the Land Acquisition Act of 2013.
It is currently with the Joint Committee of Parliament for detail discussion on the provisions of the controversial legislation, which is about to conclude its consultation process and consider it clause-by-clause next week.
