The Congress Party on Friday accused the NDA Government of deviating from its stance on terror by going ahead with India-Pakistan dialogue at the level of National Security Advisors.
Chacko said, "There is a difference of opinion on each and every decision of this government within the BJP, but people are afraid to talk about it."
Congress leader P. C Chacko also said that the BJP is unable to manage internal dissent which presently was at its discordant best.
"The BJP has maintained from the start that talks and terror can't go hand in hand, why are they deviating from that?" he asked.
"In the present scenario, the atmosphere is vitiated, so the Government of India should not go for a discussion because it will not produce a result. Everybody knows that so, it's quiet natural that these voices will come out from BJP insiders like Yashwant Sinha," Chacko told ANI.
Sinha had earlier said the NDA Government was deviating from the Atal Behari Vajpayee line that talks and terror can't go hand in hand.
