The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Monday in a meeting passed a resolution focusing on working together to succeed in the 2019 elections under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing the media after the meet, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that the NDA members met to work on their strategy for the future.
"The resolution expresses appreciation of the bold leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi," Jaitley said.
Jaitley further said that there was no discussion over who will be the next president of India.
"The resolution endorses policies of NDA and its campaigns," he added.
As many as 33 members of the alliance met under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This the second such meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with his coalition partners since Prime Minister Modi was sworn in 2014.

The Prime minister talked about new India and youth development.
He said Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana should not be neglected and also the NDA is expanding which is a positive aspect.
"We have to work on Garib Kalyan Yojana. We do not want to break public's trust," the Prime Minister added.
