Nelson Mandela watched De Niro and Eddie Murphy's films in jail

Harvey Weinstein has revealed that he once brought Nelson Mandela to a party where he thanked De Niro and Eddie Murphy, saying that he watched all their movies in jail.

During the Cinema Society premiere of 'Long Walk to Freedom' at Alice Tully Hall, the 61-year-old producer said that no one ever knows who's watching their movie, to a crowd that included Ronnie Wood, Tony Bennett and many others, the New York Post reported.

Zindzi, Mandela's daughter said that she was happy with Idris Elba's portrayal of the South African giant.
