ANI London

Nepal underground faultline is still under tremendous strain underneath Kathmandu that warns of an of an another major earthquake in the region.

The unbroken upper part of the fault, is continuously building up more pressure over time which signals that another major tremor could happen in that area within years or decades, reported the Guardian.

Nepal rests on a major faultline between two tectonic plates. One bears India and pushes north and east at a rate of about 2cm (0.8 inches) per year against the other, which carries Europe and Asia.

Unfortunately, there is no way of predicting precisely when another earthquake will take place.
