Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday said the government has successfully rescued all the people of the state from quake-hit Nepal.
"We are almost successful in rescuing the Maharashtra people from Nepal. We haven't received any figures relating to the Maharashtra people who are missing," Fadnavis told ANI here.
"More than 1,000 people have reached and 600 are coming by bus. Our medical teams are already working in Nepal and are conducting rescue and relief operations there with the help of Central Government," he added.
Saturday's earthquake, which measured 7.9 on the Richter scale, was one of the worst calamities suffered by Nepal in over 80 years.
The death toll due to the massive earthquake has climbed to over 5,200 with all efforts being made to reach out to the people in far-flung areas.
In response to the disaster, India has pressed in massive services to evacuate people from affected areas.

As part of its ongoing operations, the Indian Army's aviation helicopters reached out to far flung areas to deliver necessary relief material and the medical teams worked around the clock attending to the needy.
Since April 25, the IAF has airlifted a total of 3,193 persons, flying a total of 48 fixed wing sorties by C-17 Globemaster III, IL-76, C130J Super Hercules and AN-32 aircraft.
Around 6,100 deaths have been reported so far, with more than 11,000 people injured and many others missing.
Due to the bad weather, multi-national rescue teams with advanced equipment are finding it difficult to locate the survivors of the disaster.
According to reports, a special railway reservation counter has been set up at Delhi's T-3 International Airport so that the evacuees can reach their destination within India without any hassle.
