Nepal's Finance Ministry has in a report said that China was among the top five bilateral fund donors in fiscal 2014-15.
The Development Cooperation Report 2014-15 shows China delivering USD 37.94 million during the 12-month, making it the fourth largest bilateral donor.
The United Kingdom, the United States and Japan were ahead of China, while Switzerland was placed fifth.
The report, however, says that the USD 37.94 million does include assistance that China announced during the International Conference on Nepal's Reconstruction on June 25 last year for Nepal's post-earthquake reconstruction.
China announced the largest grant aid of USD 480 million.
The Xinhua news agency quoted one of the experts involved in preparing the report, as saying that Beijing's fund allocation is much higher as all Chinese assistance has not been notified in Nepal's Aid Management Platform (AMP).
