Search teams in Nepal have said that troops and helicopters have finally reached the high point of the Annapurna Circuit Thorung La pass, for the first time after a storm hit the Himalayan route and rescued 60 more trekkers.
According to the BBC, Tourism Minister Deepak Amatya said that a total of 282 people had been rescued from the mountain ranges.
At least 29 people have died in the disaster, said reports.
It has been by far the worst single trekking and climbing disasters Nepal has ever seen.
Officials said that the death toll may rise as many bodies are yet to be discovered from the snow.
