Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is set to embark on a three-day official visit to India starting from September 15.
Nepali Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi, confirmed the date for Dahal's maiden foreign trip after assuming the office on August 3, reports the Kathmandu Post.
Nidhi, who had visited India last week as a special envoy of Dahal, held talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday and discussed Dahal's visit to the country.
He also held talks with Indian Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj and Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
One of the agendas during his visit to New Delhi has been laying the groundwork for Dahal's visit.
Dahal will return from India on September 17.
