Communist Party of India (CPI) leader D.Raja on Friday said that the files of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose should be scrutinized by great historians so that the truth can become manifest for the people.
"To bring those files in front of the family of Netaji, these files should be examined by the historians so that they can examine about the role of Netaji, his truths and facts. These files should be examined by great historians with great credibility so that they bring out the truth," Raja told ANI.
"The demand has been there for a long time and the files related to the last days of Netaji and all the role played by Netaji should come in to public domain because there is a mystery about his demise. It is a very positive step taken by the West Bengal Government," he added.
The West Bengal Government today declassified 64 files pertaining to the last days of Netaji.
