A new "sex-free" app allows users to find people near them who "just want a cuddle".

Cuddlr, which unites strangers in search of a platonic hug, snuggle or spooning session, has GPS technology and allows users to find people near them "who are up for a cuddle... No pressure", the Mirror reported.

Cuddlr's creator, Charlie Williams said that it is possible to report someone who cuddles inappropriately, and we encourage first-time pairs to do their cuddling in a public place, and that users can give information about their cuddling preferences such as if they favour being the little or big spoon.

Williams added that on Cuddlr, one gets together straight away, have a little cuddle, and then part ways. If they want to hang out again, they can exchange information then and there - but they already know what kind of cuddles they give.
