Red Bull driver Mark Webber has said that Formula One's new strict tyre demands has been spoiling the fun for drivers.
Although Webber accepted that drivers have always had to cope with various aspects of F1 racing through the ages, such as refuelling or one-lap qualifying, he believes that this year's strict tyre management demands have eaten away at the enjoyment of battling on track, The Sun reports.
According to Webber, there is a different make-up of how races are run these days, adding that although there are nice moments in the car, it is hard to put enjoy racing nowadays.
However, despite his reservations, Webber said that winning in F1 is still very satisfying, adding that being at the top step of the podium is still a proud moment for players.
