New Delhi [India], June 2 (ANI): The one thing that stands out in all Mohit Suri movies is music.
Be it 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani', 'Aashiqui 2' or 'Half Girlfriend', the filmmaker has given his fans numerous soulful songs.
Suri, who has given an opportunity to four new singers and a new music director in 'Half Girlfriend', under his music label EMI Music, says promoting and re-discovering new talent is extremely important.
"Once you grow as a person or a filmmaker, you tend to get stuck with the same people. As a result of which, you lose connect with the audience. With all my movies I have made sure to launch one music director. I believe the new musicians have their ears to the ground. And they know what works with the youth. They make tunes that are meant for the people," the filmmaker told ANI.
"I refuse to believe that only a remix of an old song can be successful and 'Half Girlfriend' is an album like that. So I genuinely feel that promoting new talent is important."
