A new book has revealed the details about how drugs and women got in between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards' relationship and almost broke up The Rolling Stones.
The book 'Aint It Time We Said Goodbye' is written by Robert Greenfield, who got to witness the band at a volatile time in its history, a period where the once-close relationship between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards had begun to fray, the New York Daily News reported.
According to the book, the group also arrived at the intersection of make or break just as Richards' heroin addiction became harrowing.
Jagger, who had ended his long relationship with Marianne Faithfull when Ertegun warned him her heroin addiction, was putting the band at risk.
