New Zealand cricket association believes that Kiwi players are not at risk of being "poached" by the organisers of a proposed rebel league.
The association dismissed the reports that top Kiwi players, including Ross Taylor, have been approached by the organisers of the Indian financed rebel league, Stuff.co.nz reported.
It is said that Subhash Chandra, owner of India's Essel Group, is planning to set up a breakaway T20 league.
However, New Zealand Cricket's representative at the ICC, Greg Barclay said that Kiwi players are not at immediate concern.
Barclay added that neither the venues in New Zealand have been consulted to host the matches, nor the players have been approached as far as he was aware.
Leanne McGoldrick, the agent for high-profile players like Ross Taylor and Corey Anderson, said that she hadn't been approached by the organisers of the league about her players either.
McGoldrick added that she knew nothing apart from what had been reported by the media.
