After making his presence felt in the B'town film 'Jugni' earlier this year, actor Siddhant Behl now plans to entertain as a lead in an upcoming original content web series, 'Txdrmy' which is a fine example of a Meta-fiction.
'Txdrmy' will see Siddhant in the garb of a smooth-talking taxi driver, who loves interacting with his passengers and, at times, has out-of-the-world conversations with them.
The five-part series is directed by independent filmmaker Srinivas Sunderrajan in yet another tryst with Meta-fiction. The series also makes guest appearances by Hussain Dalal and Vasan Bala.
On exploring a web series as his next project, Siddhant Behl, said, "I can't be more grateful that my launch in Bollywood was with 'Jugni', a film that was well-received by both the audience and the critics. My next, a web series, will see me in a totally new avatar and I couldn't be more excited about it. 'Txdrmy' is equal parts entertaining and intellectually stimulating. Original content web series have quickly won the hearts of new-age digital viewers and I'm sure this production will help me carve a solid niche in the minds of India's discerning viewer base."
Each episode of 'Txdrmy' will be six to seven minutes long and will have a cliffhanger ending.
The series has been conceptualised and co- produced by HumaraMovie and Ping Networks, which will be released on YouTube in June.
