According to Metro.co.uk, Loic Remy's first-half strike proved decisive but the visitors were thankful for Krull's astonishing string of saves to prevent Spurs grabbing an equaliser as they rallied after the break.
It was the first time Spurs had conceded in over four-and-half-hours of Premier League football but they looked half asleep as they allowed the visitors to dominate the early exchanges, the report said.
Earlier, goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who was knocked unconscious during Tottenham's game against Everton last weekend, was not included in the matchday squad, the report added.
