Newcastle United has moved up to fifth in the Premier League table following their 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday at St. James' Park.
Victory means that Newcastle is now enjoying their best run for 19 months, as Alan Pardew prepares to celebrate three years in charge of the club.
According to the BBC, Newcastle's Yoan Gouffran's goal in the 36th minute, for a third successive match at home, made it four wins out of four for his side and although the visitors equalised with Chris Brunt's goal in the 53rd minute, however, Moussa Sissoko stole the headlines with one of the goals of the day.
Sissoko's driven shot, with the outside of his boot, gave Boaz Myhill in the visitors' goal no chance, the report added.
