Barcelona striker Neymar has trained for the first time since a vertebra in his back got fractured during Brazil's World Cup quarterfinal against Colombia.
The 22-year-old was ruled out for the rest of the World Cup after Colombian defender Juan Zuniga kneed him on 4 July and ended the forward's campaign on home ground.
Barcelona said in a statement on it's website that Neymar is back in training with the rest of the first-team squad, The BBC reported.
The statement said that the forward would be given a thorough examination by the club's medical services to evaluate his recovery.
Barcelona will start their La Liga campaign on 24 August against Elche, the report added.
