Nick Jonas, a former member of Jonas Brothers, has said that he completely understands the decision of Zayn Malik leaving One Direction adding that it was time to close a chapter.
The American musician told E! Online that the decision to leave was always tough and there was never an easy time to make a decision like that.
The 22-year-old singer continued that he commended Malik for doing what he feels was right for him and one got to stay true to themselves.
Nick himself went through a high-profile split when the Jonas Brothers went their separate artistic ways back in October 2013.
