Nicole Kidman will be returning to London stage after 17 years as British scientist Rosalind Franklin.
The 47-year-old Aussie actress will portray the only woman involved in the discovery of DNA's double helix in 1953, who had received recognition years after her death, in the UK premiere of Anna Ziegler play, 'Photograph 51,' which will be directed by Michael Grandage, the BBC reported.
Kidman's debut performance in 1998's 'The Blue Room' was famously described as "pure theatrical Viagra".
The production will bring together Kidman and Grandage, with whom she recently collaborated on the feature film 'Genius.'
The play will open at the Noel Coward Theatre on 14 September and run until 21 November.
