A new advertisement made by Nike for the 2014 FIFA World Cup reportedly does not mention the name of the tournament anywhere at all in the spot, in a probable shot at chief rivals Adidas.
Adidas are the sponsors of the tournament, which will begin in June.
The new ad, which focuses on Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo, Brazilian Neymar and England ace Wayne Rooney, is centered around a premise of 'Risk Everything' with the tagline, 'Pressure shapes legends'.
However, Mashable reports that interestingly, the new ad does not actually mention the World Cup, with the superstar faces, international jerseys and the overall atmosphere just nudging watchers to make the assumption.
The report mentioned that Nike did the same omission in its wildly popular 'Write the Future' spot ahead of the 2010 World Cup, which won the prestigious Grand Prix award at Cannes in 2010.
