Republican Nikiki Haley has reportedly got re-elected as South Carolina's governor for a second term.
She faced Democrat Vincent Sheheen at the polls, in a rematch of their 2010 race, reported Huffington Post.
The victory did not come as a surprise because Haley enjoyed double-digit leads in polls leading up to the contest.
The 42-year-old is one of two Indian American governors in the U.S., along with Lousiana's Bobby Jindal, another Republican. She is also the first woman to serve as Governor of South Carolina.
