Tourists regardless of any age loves a unique blue and white soft ice cream that a shop in Osaka sells.

There are many people who come specifically to try this ice-cream and this idea gave birth to a co-operation between soft ice-cream company "Nissei" and Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan.

Shoji Atsumi, an official at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, said, "One of the great ways to enjoy yourself in Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is to experience first-hand watching the actual size of a whale shark. We also focus on developing products so that visitors can enjoy more and more."

The ice cream is made in a way that it resembles a whale shark in terms of design by using blue colour for soda taste and white colour for vanilla taste.

Another aspect loved by many people is being able to share the unique product on their social media page.

"I took this photo to post on my Instagram as a way to share this unique ice cream from the aquarium with my friends," said a visitor from Thailand.

Shiro Ohama, an official at Kintetsu Retailing Corporation said, "We asked soft-ice cream maker Nissei if it was possible to develop a blue ice cream. It was eventually completed and it has got a very good feedback, often being referred to as 'unique' or 'delicious' by many people. Our aquarium welcomes all people to enjoy interacting with sea life and try this unique soft-ice cream."

The brains behind developing such unique ideas to revitalise Japan's attractions are various companies who are leaving no stone unturned in providing enjoyable time to the people.

The Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is one of the world's largest aquariums. It contains a huge water tank that is able to accommodate a whale shark, which is the largest known fish species in the world and is a major tourist attraction.
