Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday hit out at the ruling Congress Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the miserable plight of Bihar migrants here, and added that these two political parties have always ignored the migrants who come to the national capital in search of a livelihood.

"If the Congress party is responsible for their miserable plight in Delhi, so is the Bharatiya Janata Party because they, too, have been in power. They have been in power in the corporation also but they have not looked after them," he said while addressing a rally here in the poll-bound state.

"People who came from outside to work for the development and prosperity of Delhi, were considered a burden. People from Bihar and the eastern part are not a burden on anybody rather they carry the burden of others on their shoulders," he added.

Delhi, which is presently under Congress' rule, will vote on December 4, and the results will be announced on December 8.
