Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday said plans on for granting credit cards for college-going students of the state.
To promote higher education in Bihar, "student credit cards worth four lakh rupees will be provided. They can take it from any bank. The state government will give a three percent subsidy as interest to be paid to the banks," said Kumar.
Kumar talked of various schemes for the all-round development of the students of Bihar.
"I have noticed how students want to learn various languages now-a-days. Block wise centers would be set-up for the same. Computers, which are a must these days, will also be provided and taught," he added.
Nitish Kumar spoke of how the JD (U) is all inclusive, devoid of caste, creed and religion, and working for the development of all.
